How We Use Your Information

Soul Insole uses any Personally Identifiable Information you provide in a limited number of ways. We may use your Personally Identifiable Information to (i) complete a transaction related to a purchase of products through the Website, (ii) provide you with information about Soul Insole and its products, (iii) enhance or update the Website; (iv) review your account to determine whether other Soul Insole products may be of interest to you; (v) conduct another transaction you requested; and (vi) compile demographic statistics about our users, make a record of your visit and log your IP address, the date and time of your visit to the Website, the pages accessed and any documents downloaded, and the type of browser used. We may also on occasion combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from other parties to enhance our ability to market to you those products or services that may be of interest to you.

In addition, Soul Insole may hire other companies to perform services on our behalf such as operating certain aspects of the Website or sending you email. These other companies may be supplied with or have access to your Personally Identifiable Information for the sole purpose of providing these services to us or on our behalf.

Though we will make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose Personally Identifiable Information when required by law or if we have a good-faith belief that the action is necessary to comply with a pending judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on Soul Insole or to protect our rights or the rights of others, to fight fraud, identity theft, to ensure the integrity and operation of our business and systems, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Soul Insole, its employees, members or others.

How We Share Your Information

We will not disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to others without your permission, except as explained in this Privacy Policy.

Aggregate Information

On an aggregate basis only, we collect comprehensive demographic, business information and data, and other non-identifying information about users of the Website. Soul Insole will never disclose any Personally Identifiable Information as part of this aggregate information but we may lend, sell, share or otherwise disclose aggregate information with others so we can perform research and provide the results to third parties, conduct accounting and process record keeping functions, and enhance and market the Website.

Other websites and links

We may include links to other websites that we think will be of interest to you or operated by our business partners, advertisers, affiliates, and others. These third parties have separate data collection and privacy practices independent from ours, and Soul Insole cannot be responsible for their policies or activities. Please contact those third parties directly if you have questions about their privacy policies.

“Do Not Track” Signals

Some web browsers allow you to send a special “Do Not Track” signal to websites you visit while web browsing so that third parties (such as advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked. Because Soul Insole does not track users over time and across other websites, Soul Insole does not currently respond to web browser “Do Not Track” signals but if we do so in the future, we will describe how in this Privacy Policy. For more information about “Do Not Track” and how you can opt out of receiving targeted advertising from many providers, visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/

In addition, the Website includes third party content (such as social features or map information) and this content may set “cookies” (as described below) on your browser and/or obtain information about the fact that you visited the Website from a certain IP address. Third parties though cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from the Website unless you provide it to them directly.

Cookies, Web Beacons, Clear Gifs, and IP Addresses

Soul Insole may also use a feature of your browser called a “cookie.” Your cookie automatically identifies your computer – but not you – to our servers when you visit the Website and allows us to correlate your computer with certain usage patterns which are stored in our log files. We use cookies to gather general, aggregate statistics about the overall popularity and usage of the Website. We also use cookies to give credit to our affiliates for referrals. Soul Insole also uses more temporary cookies, often referred to as session cookies, to keep a user logged into the system and aid in the exchange of information between pages without loss of data. Such a cookie, however, is only stored for the current browsing session and is deleted once the browser is closed. Soul Insole can also only read cookies from the Website. Search for Cookies under your Web browser’s Help menu for more information on cookie management features available to you. If your browser is set to reject all cookies, the Website may not function properly. Soul Insole may also collect information through the use of clear gifs (also called Web Beacons and Web Bugs) in selected email messages we send to you. These are tiny graphic files, not visible to the human eye, used to let us know which emails we send are opened that are included in HTML-based emails. Clear gifs may also see or read cookies on your computer. When authorized by Soul Insole, third parties specializing in monitoring aggregate statistical use of our site with whom we contract, may use cookies, web beacons, our web log files, and other monitoring technologies to compile anonymous aggregate data.

Additionally, we may use IP address information to help diagnose problems with our server, to count and track aggregate visits to Website, and to administer the Website. Soul Insole does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable so while a particular user’s session can be tracked, the user remains completely anonymous.

Google Analytics

We use “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use (as amended for government websites) and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.

Google Analytics employs cookies to define user sessions, which allows for the collection of data about how visitors are using the websites. Google Analytics uses only first-party cookies for data analysis. This means that the cookies are linked to a specific website domain, and Google Analytics will only use that cookie data for statistical analysis related to your browsing behavior on that specific website. According to Google, the data collected cannot be altered or retrieved by services from other domains. If you choose, you can opt out by turning off cookies in the preferences settings in your web browser. For more information on Google Analytics, please visit Google Analytics

Accessing and Updating Information

Soul Insole does not currently have an online method for users to delete their Personally Identifiable Information contained in our database. However, you may change or update the Personally Identifiable Information we have collected, request that we delete it (unless Soul Insole is required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes), or request that we change how we use it by sending an email to info@soulinsole.com with your instructions. Please note that this deletion may otherwise impact prior transactions performed on the Website.

If you do not agree to the changes, please discontinue use of the Website. Lastly, if Soul Insole is sold or merged with another company, your Personally Identifiable Information will be included as part of the sale but unless you’re notified that the Privacy Policy is changed, your Personally Identifiable Information will be maintained in the same manner.

If you access the Website from outside the United States, your usage of the Website constitutes consent to the transfer of your data outside of your country and to North America.
